The third Lions International Youth Camp in Greenland

It is with pride and great pleasure, that the Lions Club Godthåb welcomes you to the third ever Lions International Youth Camp in Greenland.

Greenland is the meeting place at the top of the world. A beautiful country - the largest island in the world - and its 55.000 people will offer an adventure for life. Together with other young people at the International Youth Camp, you will get a knowledge of a special country, where old and new meet. You will experience the enormous cultural development which Greenland has been through in recent years, and you might get a glimpse of life as it was. Greenland has entered the information age, but the ancient hunt culture is still in many ways the basis for survivel.

The Lions Club Godthåb has put together a program bringing young people from different countries in order to create friendship across the borders. We look forward seeing you in our beautiful communities, and in the nature.

This Youth Camp's is highly dependent on the active participation and engagement of each and every member of the camp. We hope that the opportunity of a Homestay in three different towns will create a vivid and interesting platform for the time you gather in Nuuk. By the time you arrive in Nuuk, you might even be in good physical shape for the hiking, in which you will experience nature on foot.
